What you've said is indeed true, but I think it goes even deeper than that. Around here, if it's not a HD, it's a piece of dung. Some of my occasional fellow riders even think the same thing about Sportsters. You either ride a big-block Harley, or it's a training-wheels bike. Never mind that you can hit some twisty bits of road and a FLH can't keep you in sight until the road straightens out again. Maybe I just hang out with the wrong riders, but I'm related to some and haven't got much choice. Anyway, for the price of a Harley Ultra I could buy six(!) Savages. Do you think he is having six times as much fun? Neither do I. Thanks. --Skeeter
